I went there forlunch with my sister who was in from out of town. We each ordered the combo plate. Everything was delicious and we had so much food we could have shared one. Service was good and prices reasonable. We will definitely go back.
Extremely disappointed.. Wow . It's been years since I have been at this restaurant in Royal oak.. I remember it being good... Well, definitely not what it used to be . First of all our waitress seemed like she had no experience ..She cleared a table for us but failed to wipe it down. All the food was very very dry, the bread was only warm on one side? The meat overseasoned . We didn't get any sauce, we asked for a side of tahini and garlic sauce to dip the dry meat into it, found out when we got the bill that they actually charged us for it. It wasn't even worth mentioning anything to the restaurant.. It's obvious they don't care . DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK....
The salmon ghallaba was awful, I ate a few bites and threw it away because it was a pool of oil. The crushed lentil soup was pretty good, and the pita bread was rock solid and the fries had absolutely no flavor. Unimpressed, I won't be back.
